Default loose dead pedal?

Anyone else with the same problem.

today i just noticed that the dead pedal in my Z is loose. The whole wedge shaped dead pedal seems to be loose. I didn't pull the whole thing out to see what was wrong. anyone know how the dead pedal is assembled? is it secured by screws or just snapped into place via plastic rivets?

My foot rest pedal is also loose, so loose that I can pull it off without effort. I am waiting for a new pedal from the dealer. This car one problem after another....grease on windows, feathered tires, transmission, fraying interior (visors) and loose pedal.

My dead pedal just fell off yesterday....when I moved my foot some how it came with it..... It seems that the 2 plastic style screws inside the pedal are stripped.
