I have read (nearly every one of the 4000 posts on this issue) until my eyes literally hurt. Here is my question. I obviously cannot get help from Nissan on this, but won't adding adjustable camber arms (like the ones from Cusco) fix this issue? I realize I would have to buy them and install them, but if adjusting the camber is what is required, isn't this a legitimate fix? and has anyone else tried this?

If you really read those posts, you would have learned that the feathering problem was a result of front Toe settings, not camber. The Z has toe-in/out adjustments and it was set wrong from the factory and that was the cause of the problem.

Un-calibrated alignment machines at dealerships caused another wave of problems when they attempted to fix the out-of-spec Toe settings by making them wrong again. The second TSB required dealers to submit calibration certification to NNA before they would be reimbursed for the feathering fixes they were doing.

 

Thanks for the response. I spent three hours reading and should have taken a break before posting my question. Some of the post advise their camber was out. Thanks for the reply. If the dealer has submitted calibration certification and I get a tech that knows what they are doing, adjusting the toe settings, should solve my problem, correct?

From what i read in the same faq pages is that the toe really doesnt fix it or if it does the toe is very touchy and can be bumped out of spec easy. I took mine in last weekend to get an alignment and i think it has gotten worse now. New S03's =(*

 

just take it to a reputable alignment shop that knows what they are doing and tell them to put it back into spec. I had feathering issues and had an independant shop align my car properly, and even though I am slammed very low, it got rid of the feathering.
