Default Weird Drivers seat problem

Anybody else notice their drivers seat being slightly out of alignment?? Specifically the back. If I sit directly in the center of the bottom of my seat, my back is not lined up with the back of the seat, in other words Im leaning into the left side bolster. If I put my back snugly in the back of the seat my body is about an inch and a half off center.

I took a closer look today and noticed some broken plastic near the joint of the seat, Im not sure how something like that could have happened. Is there is a way to adjust it? If not, I may end up having to buy a new seat because this is just driving me bonkers.

Are there others out there with this problem? Or is this just me?

What does the shifter have to do with the seat? lol I'm practically sitting ON the right side bottom bolster with my back snugly in the back of the seat. Its starting to irritate my back because I keep shifting around trying to center myself to the steering wheel, but I cant while still leaning back into the seat. If I center my lower body to the bottom of the seat there is literally over an inch of space between my back and the right back bolster. I can imagine that they would design a car that way.

im not sure why its like that so your elbow doesnt hit the bolster. In the race car we have a momo seat, and my elbow hits the bolster. If a kirkey racing seat is in it. I dont have the problem, but i do in a Sparco seat. Just all depends on the seat and brackets. I know this isnt much help but most "racing seat" are centered so you may want to invest in one of those if it bothers you that much.

Are there options for aftermarket seats for the roadster? I know the seat has to move up a little bit to allow the top to open, Im sure most after market seats are even taller and would really cause a problem.

It bothers me enough that if I had noticed it when I was test driving the car, I would have bought an different car altogether.
