Default The windshield wiper fluid cap holder crumbled into pieces.

Scary stuff.

I have a 2003 350Z and went to add some windshield wiper fluid. When I popped off the cap I noticed the plastic thingy holding it to the reservoir broke off.

Touched the plastic thingy and it crumbled in my hands.

Ummm. Scared the **** out of me...stuff ran through my head like what elses is made of this material.

I believe in biodegradable stuff but not in a car after just 5 years.

Mine broke some time ago also. I replaced all my caps with the polished ones from zeetoys...

Yeah. My little "connector" piece holding the cap just broke too. I imagine the rest of the plastic under the hood will be disolving soon as well. Friggin' desert...
