Default Difference between cupping and feathering

Are the same or are they different.

I have on the inside tread every two threads are higher than the other. Is this cupping?

The tread seams be cracking. Is this feathering?

Help. I know I have the sound and I know I have cupping but do I have feathering?

Default cupping

hi
cupping is the tread blocks wearing unevenly across the block making one edge higher than another. You can feel this by running your hand back and forth along the tread in the direction of rolling.
feathering is thinning of the tread across the tire- this is easy to see- just look at the tread depth
