I'm not sure if this is in the right folder, so don't yell at me. I apoligize in advance. I was seriously considering buying a 350z until I read this section on all the 2003 bugs (grease windows...what do they look like?, tire feathering etc..) and now I'm apprehensive.

Does anyone know if Nissan fixed the main 2003 bugs in their 2004 release?

 

My 2003 Z has had no problems and has run flawlessly for over 9000 miles. The first year and early production vehicles of any new model tend to have more bugs than latter vehicles and years. I could give you along list of problems with the first year new model 96' chrysler minivan I bought and have since unloaded. Remember too, that the postings by Z owners on this board is not likely a representative sample and some Z owners have problems because they abuse the car or bought something they didn't really want. However, there are and were legitimate problems, some apparently serious, persistent and annoying.

As for bugs in 2004 Zs, not only are they gone from NIssan but as of a few days ago, from VW too.
