Default clicking from rear axle

06 manual with 35k on it. starting noticing this about a month or so ago. when i begin to roll forward in 1st gear i hear modertly loud clicking noises coming from the rear axle, almost like the noise is coming from both corners once the noise is gone, everything is ok, even going into the higher gears. i havent noticed this noise in reverse either. any ballpark ideas on what this might be? car still seems to run fine, so this is more annoying than anything....but if it might be a problem then i want to have it addressed. still has the factory differential fluid. thnx for the help.
