Hey, I just hit 5000 miles in my car (only had it 3 months). I had the oil changed at Nissan per their spec at 2500 miles, and am looking to do this round of maintenance myself. What would you recommend me doing? Oil/filter, tranny flush, differential, what? Thanks.

 

oil change, check spark plugs, check fluids, check tires, clean windshield, vacuum interior, Check brakes (by lookin at them with the rim still mounted. you know all the stuff they charge you 120 bux for! look at the car basically

 

hehe, clean windshield and vacuum interior... I do that twice a week...
should I change the oil filter? what about tranny fluid?

 

everytime you change the oil you change the oil filter! tranny i say 15,000 miles along with regreasing the differentials. maybe 30,000 depending on how hard you drive (traffic/city driving)
