Default Clunk when engaging clutch

Hi Everyone, I have a 2005 Z with ~50k miles. When I engage the clutch in first gear, two back to back clunking sounds occur no more than a milisecond in between each other. From what I can hear, it sounds like metal on metal. I just had an Exedy clutch and flywheel put in by a tech at Nissan because I thought that would fix the problem......but it didn't....

Has anyone ever experienced this before?

Any help is appreciated!

P.S. I tried searching for this but got a lot of "sway bar related clunking" threads instead.

Thanks!

-Eric

For some reason I feel like I am replying to the same question at least once each day.

I have a stock clutch and get the same clunk noise when I first start the car. The car has around 10K miles on it and is an 03. I think it might be normal when the car is cold.
