So here's the story, I've got a 2005 350Z manual with 32000 miles with a knock coming from the clutch pedal. Knock/pop use to only occur at idle with the clutch pedal not pushed in and transmission in neutral. It could be felt by resting my foot on the pedal but not actually pushing on the pedal. The knock is NOT felt through the shift ****, steering wheel, gas, or brake pedal. Now I can feel it has gotten worse, more frequent, sometimes affects idle, and can sometimes be felt when the clutch pedal is pressed in. A friend told me that it sounds like something on the clutch surface is ripped or broken and I should replace the clutch. Can anyone verify my problem?? Thanks!
