1. Window problem: My window was been causing me problems. It will not stay up. When the window goes up and starts to seal it immdeiatly goes right back down half way and stays there. I have to hold the bottom up, turn off the car and get out for it to stay up. Would this been the switch or the regulator?

2. Oil pressure gauge: Simple, It doesnt work at all. it is pegged out and does not move ever. But the preasure is good.

The window regulator is bad. The oil pressure read out can be the result of a faulty oil sender unit. Warranty should cover them both.

 

I checked on the warrently, and its a negitive. Anyone have a clue of how much it cost to replace and replair the regulator and oil sending unit? I'v only owned Audi's till about a week ago and have not clue. I am fairly decent at automotive mechanics in general but have no clue about these 350z's...

Is it difficault to fix these two things my self?

I had to order a new power window motor from Advance Auto recently, 'cause of the same problem. Also, the hatchback door struts are a fail in these cars. Other than that, I love my monZter! Engine, cooling system, AT, etc., are FLAWLESS, so I'm keepin' her
till Judgment Day!!! ( Price of power window motor: $161.00)

 

rear hatch struts wear out on all cars....rear hatch is heavy....you'd be tired too
