Every now and then my passenger door wont unlock. i can use the key fob and the drivers door with open but not the passenger. even the button inside the car wont unlock it. the little manual switch/lever seems to get stuck halfway.

any ideas? thanks

I kind of have the same problem. With mine, I just can't open the passenger door from inside the car. From outside I can open it just fine. Seems those Nissan door locks/handles take a dump after a while

I will have a dealer look at it. Hopefully they won't kill me $$$.

 

i've never taken apart a Z door as of yet, but what probably happened to atleast the interior door handle is that the little plastic clip that holds the metal rod that pulls the lock when you pull the handle has probably broken from someones excessive force when pulling on the handle, or perhaps the handle itself broke. That is what usually happens with many other cars.

Today my car decided to not unlock or lock with the key fob but when I get in and flip the inside lock it works. I am not sure if my module broke or something else yet its 25 degrees out so I dont want to work on it just yet.
