Dent on rear hatch
I drew an arrow pointing to the location of the dent. I was shutting the hatch and the metal just pushed in on me and created a dent. Is there any way for me to get to this area and push it out, or should I just go to a dent repair service?
I have some small dents on top of my hatch. I belive I got them from closing the hatch too hard. I took it in to see if I could get them pushed out. They said they couldn't because the metal was a double wall construction. I'm going to add a wing to cover mine. For yours, maybe look into "suction" type dent removal.
I actually got it out last night. I heated it up with a hair dryer and then used a can of compressed air upside down and froze the area. The cold expanded the metal enough to pop the dent out. At least I couldn't see it anymore last night, I'll check it again today in more direct sunlight.
sheet metals are thin on the Z. i have a glue puller dent removal kit($35 online), managed to somewhat level out a dent/crease on my fender that some A-hole give my Z at the parking lot. But it is still noticable at some angles.
the local paintless dent removal guy told me that many parts of the Z are hard to access so he can't massage the dent out.(unless you want to drill holes all over you car)

use the Nissan symbol to close the lid- at least it will spread the load a bit.
n8vz's idea of the glue popper might be good, but i have never used one.
by the way, you expanded the metal with a heat gun, then shrank it with the cold air- good idea for small, broad area depressions, but watch heating too much- paint may spider web when thermally shocked with the cold air
