Question How to remove trunk trim panel

How do I remove the trim panel that covers the inside of the trunk/hatch lid?

I want to take it off, to isolate the annoying rattle I'm getting without destroying it !!!!!

If anyone could give me a few pointers or even better send me the .pdf pages from the service manual I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks guys (and girls) !

It is held on by orange plastic push pins and these things hold on tightly. I got mine off by gently trying to pry the cover off until I located one of them. Once I found the first one, I added a little more force until it popped. Once he first one goes you can gently pull on the next until that one pops and so on. Good luck. The first time I removed mine it was a b*itch to get the first one off. If anyone has a "good" plan I want to hear it.

when i took my interior trim off, i managed to break a few of the plastic push pins. (they costs over $1 each to replace at the dealer). If someone knows where i can get replacement ones cheap, let me know.

By the sounds of it you can get cheap ones from the dealership. 😉
