Default Horrible Idle Problem

When the Z is idling for a longish period of time (45 seconds to a minute) its starts acting like it wants to die. It dips down to 500 rpms - 250 rpms and shakes a lot then goes back up then starts going back down until I start to drive again. It also does this without fail when I have my heater or AC on and I come to a stop (I have to turn off my heater/AC when I stop now) or else it will immediately start acting like it wants to turn off.

It has already cut off on me twice.....anyone know wtf is up? Could it be a dirty air filter? My air filter is pretty damn dirty but Im just waiting until this weekend because I get my new intake set up (in the mail).

Happened to me when I took the Z out for the first time this spring.

At a stop light I looked down and my RPMs were dipping low.

I'm gonna try cleaning the MAF and related stuff and see if it helps.

Default Poor idle

Sounds like you have an idle re-learn problem,,(have you recently had to change or disconnect the battery?)if so you may need to visit the dealer so they can reset your base idle.....if you were closer i would hook you up but kind of a long drive for you im sure....good luck..

'') do you know what kind of tool they use to reset the idle??
My Z is in Korea and Samsung sells rebadged Nissans... mayeb i can get it reset there.
My car does that too and after i took it to korea with different fuel and all and i have to hold on the gas to keep it idling stable.

I'm having a similar issue but my car was throwing a P0300 code after a spark plug change and injen filter replacement. I cleared the code and did the relearn and the problem isn't as bad but the car still has an irregular idle. If you find a solid solution please let me know.
