CYBERZ350-
Thanks for the heads up on Quality Nissan...damn, I need to take my car in for the "1st" service- now I'm starting to get worried about those guys. They ticked me off the other day anyway when I asked about a passenger airbag cutoff. The guy told me 1500 bucks! B.S.!

Yea, I haven't really found a good dealer yet. They're all cool if you're paying them money to do work. But mention the word warranty or free, and all bets are out the window. Let me know if you find a good dealer in our area. I was going to try the one in Hemet, I think it was Gosch or something like that, but I got the same kind of vibe on the phone when I was talking to them. But if you're just getting that 1st Service, it shouldn't be a problem, basic oil change shouldn't be too hard for them. Plus, if you bought it from them, the 1st service is free if they do it. Maybe you should tell em your car is pulling to the right or something that way they can check your alignment. You know, kinda kill the feathering problem early. Good luck man. Let me know how it goes. Good to see another Z in da boonies of Murrieta.

Hey CyberZ-
Not sure if you saw this thread, but it sounds promising and might be a good shop to use. I haven't modded yet, but plan to and definetly don't want to use dealers who aren't warrenty friendly...you KNOW they most likely won't take kindly to any mods-

Just FYI, I took mine in at 7500 and the tires where sooo feathered the tech said it made no sense to "flip" them... so they ordered new ones. Been waiting now 2 months... :-(

Noise is to the point that I don't feel like driving it anymore. I am right at 10K miles.

You guys have to complaiin that it is road noise from the tires. There is no TSB on tire feathering it is under road noise. Call Nissan and tell them you are having a issue with road noise at low mph, they will not replace your tires the first time around. They will swap the tires (removing them from the rim) and align your car. This will only help you out for prob around 7000 miles then the problem will occur again and this time around they will swap out the tires for new ones.

In arbitration hearing Nissan rep said that TSB is invalid and there is now a NTB03-006A... anyone found that?

I know I'm a little bit behind on this thread, but I just thought the roaring I've been hearing for a long time was normal for a sports car... chalk it up to being female and just not knowing. I'm at a loss.. almost 14K miles, and I'm worried about it all now. Any ideas on what I should do to get started? Can you send the pdf file too? I don't know where to begin!

I'm not sure if its too late because you're past the 11K or 12K mile limit for alignment. But you should start by telling the dealer you've got a problem with road noise when slowing. I'll send you the TSB whats your email.
