Default For those whose windows were stuck down?

Did you have any problems with the regulator being damaged when the window was raised for service? My local dealership told me that the motor is the problem, but the regulator will likely be damaged fixing the problem. Does this sound right or is it time to throw the BS flag?

Same thing happened to me. I had tint on the innter part of the window and they said it was being jammed due to the motor, and the scratches on the tint were due to the regulator. But from what people will think, theyll want you to replace both to be safe.

When the window glass is raised to move it out of the way for the window motor replacement.
