So a tree jumped out of nowhere and dented my bumper...

Well, not really, i backed up and hit my bumper slightly, didn't do paint damage, just a really small chip about the size of 3 grains of sand i would say, that doesn't bother me. What is bothering me is that it's dented a little, you can tell by the way the light reflects of it.
So what i was wondering was, how can i get this fixed without having to take it to a professional body shop? I don't know if dent wizard will work since it's the bumper (does that have to do with anything?) I will take pictures of it when i get home so you guys know what i'm talking about.
SHORT STORY:
small dent on rear bumper, need how-to fix it advice.

Hey, I also have a redliner. I sustained a dent.....long story....but the dent is in the middle of the rear bumper about 2 inches long. Again, like yours, no paint damage, just dented. Took it to the dent clinic and they said they don't work on plastic that much, but is willing to give it a try. They said they may have to use a heat gun, and other gadgets they have. Steel....no problem, but plastic, they don't know if it'll work.
Body shop can do it too, but will need to go through the whole 9 yards, ie, sand, fill, paint etc.
Anyways, I plan to take the car to the dent clinic next week or so. Will let you know what happens. In the mean time, would you keep me posted as well about yours? Thanks.

i'm thinking of maybe taking the rear bumper out and try to roll the dent out, but i'm not sure if it will work.
How hard is it to take the rear bumper off?

Don't know how to do it, but do know I wouldn't do it myself. The body shop told me that that's what they will do, ie, take the bumper off and try to roll the dent out.
Ya, plastic bumpers are a pain in the rear, literally, in a sense that dents can't be rolled out as easily as other parts of the body.

I see temp plates, or did you buy it used? Talk about luck!
