Default Convertible top won't open. UGH!

Anyone know how to manual crank open the convertible top and pop open that rear hatch?

I don't even know where to start trouble shooting. I press the "open" button, but nothing. Not even a sound.

I thought maybe I could just pull the top back, but didn't want to be too rough with it.

help?

Not to be a jerk and state the obvious, but you have opened and closed it before, right? Did it suddenly stop working? What was going on when it stopped? Was any work done recently?

Hi,

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Yes, it suddenly stopped working. It was working just fine a month and a half ago, that was the last time it was opened.

Work wise, I had tinkered with the odometer, but I doubt that is related to the convertible top.

I removed the A-pillar trim and and I see 5-6 wires running along it. Is there something I can do with these wires to force it to open/close? (to test the motors)

Thanks everyone!
