Help removing crank pulley when engine is out of the car????

Default Help removing crank pulley when engine is out of the car????

Any one have any tips on how to remove the crank pulley when the engine is out the car and on a stand??

any tips on how to stop the crank rotating??

If no impact. Use two flywheel bolts and a prybar on back breaker bar up front.

If you're not looking to strip anything, your best bet would be to find someone with an air compressor and an impact gun. The pulley should come out with ease.

You could rent one of those electric impact guns if you don't have a compressor...or if you toy around with your car(s) just buy one; it'll come in handy in the future.
