***Help. AC went out. Florida :(***
here's the story.
my ac just doesnt work like it used to so i decided to charge it just like i did when i replaced an ac line with the turbonetics single.
i emptied 2 bottles of 134a into the low pressure side with the car on and ac full blast just like i did b4 but this time the ac stopped blowing cold.
i heard a noise coming from the compressor. so i jacked up the car and i had my mom turn the car on with the ac off and then turn the ac on.
well there is a small purge valve underneath the compressor and everytime the ac is turned on green slime shoots out.
any help???

to much freon that is a high pressure release valve you probrably blew a few o rings in the process now what you need to do is have the sytem evacuated and checked for leaks (the pressure valve should be replaced)if theres no leaks evacuate (very important)this removes any moisture and creates a vacume to better charge the system .add the proper amount of r134 amd start up the car .turn the a/c on make sure the compressor clutch starts and the fans kick on if this doesnt occur you have a problem take it to a professional
actually any a/c maintnence require special equipment and training it should go to a shop

if it was still blowing some what cold air it still had freon in it. When its empty it doesn't take more then 1 can you put 2 cans and it had some left. Now you probably caused it to leak some where or made your small leak bigger. May have even damaged the compressor from to much pressure try to evacuate the system and recharge
