I dont have membership there, but I heard Costco will take everything back, anytime. Friend of mine had a DVD player break 3 years after buying it from Costco. Took it back to them and they gave him a full refund.

You should get one. They have newer rules about electronics (TVs, cpus, cameras, etc.), but you can take most items back at any time without issue. That's why I got my jack there (plus it was pretty cheap)!

I've heard bad things about the Costco jack also. They they break down fairly quickly and have to be replaced...

Weird! I use my CONSTANTLY, like to the point where my wife is like, "what are you changing the wheels on now?" with no problems so far. However, that's why I bought it at Costco. Plus this reaffirms the reason to use the jack stands.

How do you like this one? It looks like a quality piece, but not sure if it's long enough to fit under my C-West long nose bumper.

This jack is awesome! I want another one. It also lifts higher than my jack stands can go.

That last one looks like a good one... Can it reach the front crossmember or rear differential without pre-lifting? That would be nice.

+1 on the Harbor Freight aluminum jack

A few of my friends have them and works well with their lowered cars.

It is still on sale for same price! There is an ad for that every month with the sale coupon in one of automobile magazines (it's either Automobile, Super Street or Modified).

But it is not as low as this one - http://www.harborfreight.com/2-ton-l...67022.html?p=2

It is heavy (not aluminum) but if it is in the garage it doesn't matter - you don't have to lift it, just move around.
Besides weight - it's perfect! With this height range: 2-7/8" - 20-1/16" you can get under any car!
All of the other ones is more than 3 inches minimum lifting range which is too high for my Veilside V3 side skirts.

BTW, this is with a stock suspension. Forget about it if you are lowered.

I got my from northern tool

http://www.northerntool.com/shop/too...6598_200326598

it comes with stands..please don't use them! It's been through some abuse and holding up well. I still have to drive up on 2x4s to get it under the car but it works.
