No Rays, no Brembos, no Nav. Bought Jan 2003, availability was still fairly low.
Got the BOSE fix, seems the same to me. While I was there they ordered my passanger side door handle, "plastic" that broke... :-)

I think they could have done a little better job on the quality of the interior. The interior looks a lot better then pretty much anything in it's class, but I have had to replace a lot of parts ex. middle console, steering wheel, plastic piece on the passanger seat, and now the door handle. Can;t wait to see what Nissan wants to charge me to fix that
I have had several cars in my time and never had this much trouble keeping the insides together. I mean give me a break the car is 3 not 30.
your not using armor all on your interior are you? i had all sorts of plasticky interior parts break/fall off on my 98 Camaro SS. No such issues with the Z so far. You think the interior of a Z is cheap, rofl, go ride in a F-Body.
I think it's cheap b/c I have had a lot of things replaced already like the steering wheel, plastic on the passanger seat and the middle console. I would expect a little more durability from a car that is barley 3 years old wouldn't you?
You know why they're cheap because the company CEO needed to bring back Nissan from the red. They were in debt for billions and the only way to bring back a company like that was to do cost cutting and in this case they had their trojan horse the 350z. They knew people will flock to the car and be soo excited about its return that they'll disregard its flaws. So they built the car with the cheapest leathers and plastics to have a bigger margin of profit for them. I mean Nissan is a business they needed a way to make some money and this this case it was at the expense of quality and customer satisfaction. I believe that as they begin to get back into the green they'll begin to build better cars.
