Default Cant get my car to burnout???

Ok, Ive had my car for about a month and decided to go ahead and try a burnout. I have an 04' touring 6spd. I turned the VDC off, took the motor to about 5 and dumped the clutch then got on the brake. Right when i get on the brake it seems like my car looses all power like if the VDC were on. Can anyone help???

you have to disconnect the break light. The ecu will cut power once the break is depressed. Safety feature, plus prevents abuse like doing burn outs.

either pull the brake light fuse or disconnect the top wire connector on the brake pedal. In either case, no brake lights.

Start by oiling your tires to the max, then hit the gas!!!!!!!!! This will produce the desired "spinning" effect you crave. I suggest using synthetic oil, one quart per wheel.

And some of us on this forum wonder why there are so many transmission problems with this car. Abuse your car and it will abuse you!!!!!!!!!!!!
