Clutch problem
Hey guys,
I have a 2003 Track with around 30k miles on it.
I've owned the car a few months now and from the beginning the clutch has felt heavy and had some judder when enganging at low rpm. Also when I turn off my car I can hear something rattle a bit when the engine is almost done spinning.
The other day I let another 350Z owner with a JWT clutch feel my clutch and he said it feels like it "sticks". Like the pedal doesn't come up with much force when you depress it.
He thinks the problem lays in the pressureplate being worn.
Last week I did some big maintanance to my Z including bleeding the clutch fluid and when my girlfriend pumped and held my clutch pedal while I bled it the pedal got stuck at the low position when she released it (yes the bleeding nipple was closed before she let it go). I had to pull it a bit for it to pop back up.
And now today when I drove off the clutch felt really really heavy and I had a hard time engaging gears. When the engine warmed up a bit it went back to the "normal" heavy feeling. Still I ended up taking my Impreza as I didn't trust it.
One thing my clutch has never done is slipping.
Is my clutch a goner or did I maybe made a mistake with the bleeding? It did work fine the first few drives after the bleeding..
