Default 2008 axle click?

I read a bunch on the axle click and the TSB on the older z's for this issue. I also watched a vid of a g35 with it so I know what it sounds like. I'm not quite sure if I hear it or not, but has anyone had this issue with an 2008?

Also, does anyone have a link for the DIY axle greasing? I swear I saw one, but spent about an hour searching and still have yet to find it.

I also have a clunk in the rear, but going to jack it up and check all the bolts (part. the sway bar end links). Maybe it is related to that.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Yes anything is possible. Remember that the original service bulletin included a kit. Not just grease.

So I finally got around to jacking the car up last night and took a solid look under the car. I only did the left rear, and all the bolts seemed really tight. So I don't think that is the cause of my noise. My noise happens when I start out, and when I'm driving slow (2nd) and let of the accelerator or accelerate. These are all situations where the car is undergoing a weight transfer.

I know the axle click problem with the older Z's was when you were starting out and from viewing the video of the G35, during driving, but does it happen when the weight shifts in the car during deceleration?

I think the noise I'm hearing is more of a clunk and not the axle click, but I would like to rule out the axle click by when I hear the noise if possible. My boss mentioned to me it could be a differential mount or motor mount. I guess I'll jack the whole rear end up and really scrutinize everything.
