i think it has to be the cold 'cause if its warm, nothin' happens.
why r u taking your car in shop? if's it's the cd problem, i would live with it or get aftermarket radio.

yeah, your probably right, when u take it in, the cd will play!

i had my radio replaced for the 5th time now... service manager called me and said they replaced my radio but the new one is more messed up than my old one... i guess they're using remanufactured radios...

i don't really know how a cd player works inside but i noticed that certain cd's will do that and some cd's no problem. Hmmmm. just one more week of driving the z then i'll worry about it in spring.

maybe you should put in your aftermarket radio. i wonder if the maxima or other nissan cars have the same problem?

i would put in an aftermarket radio , as a matter of fact i had nice system in my Z already , but because of other problems with the car i took everything out...

I have this problem too. The car manual says your CD player may not work in the cold. I decided I am done with this piece of crap. It is the worst ever. Never had a problem with any of my other factory head unit. Bose is for the home.
