Default Help!! With clutch

My 350z has been fine for awhile today while driving up towards a red light i pushed the clutch in to go to neutral n heard a funny noise like keys shaken . the clutch came up slowly after. I found a small spring about the size of a finger wit a little hook shape at the end . Any one know where this came from and what i should do

Looks like a clutch pedal return spring, but I couldn't find it on the Courtesy Parts site, and I don't see it in the service manual.

It looks like the loop broke off the other end. It's probably hanging in a hole under the dash. Look for it, and you'll be able to tell where the new spring needs to go. Take both pieces to a parts store to match up with a replacement.
