is my alligment ok ?
Recently I felt my Z pull to the right so I took it to my dealership and was told they would check my tires for feathering , toe in and for alligment . Right of the bat my service advisor said "even if your alligment is off specs , we will not fix it under the warranty " my car has only 7 K miles so I wonder why he said it. Anyway , got back my car yesterday , technician couldnt find anything wrong with the car , I got charged $110 for checking and that was it. Until i sat in my car and drove home , and I still feel my z pull to the right , so I go to the tire place , big place and ask them to check the alligment and tires. This guy said 3 of my tires should be replaced right away and alligment is messed up. I told him not to touch anything and I got a print out. Is my alligment really bad , or is it only slightly out of specs and thats why my dealer said its fine ? please help me out thanks

Alignment is bad
Your dealer is full of crap. You toe settings are way out of spec just like virtually every Z out there.
As per Nissan TSB for this they will align your car and swap tires (not rims) left and right. However this will not actually fix anything.
If you ***** hard enough Nissan will give you new tires, but again this only buys you about 6000 miles before the feathering comes back. But who knows maybe Nissan will have a fix by then, $hit it has only been a year since they knew about it.
Sorry, no I am not bitter about this at all.

Man your toe is way out of spec. I would be spitting fire if I was charged even $10.00 for the service you got. There is an existing TSB the for problems you are experiencing, and they are obligated to check it under warranty and bill Nissan. The fact that they did not do an alignment puzzles me. Call Nissan and file a complaint.

Oh, and a few more things. I don't have a scanner, but my total toe for the front before alignment was -0.15. Not too bad, but out of spec. Yours though is off the charts. My dealership replaced my front tires with Michelin Pilot Sport All Seasons under warranty and gave me an alignment. Post alignment my Total Toe is 0.04.
Also, I don't think your dealership is using the latest specified ranges. The latest alignment specified ranges for the left and right front toe is 0.00 to 0.04. Yours is 0.00 to 0.08.
Everything about your dealership experience sounds fishy to me. I would definitely get to the bottom of it, at least talk to the Service Manager. They owe you money AND an explanation.
