Default Question for rear diff fluid change...

What do you guys use to get the gear oil into the rear diff once its drained? I tried using a cheap suction gun from auto zone but it was a piece of crap.

When I changed my tranny fluid it was a pain in the butt too, and took forever for me to fill it up to the fill plug. and I was wondering if there is a better way of doing this?

Thanks.

they also have hand pumps that are way better than the "gun" type

I plan on using the kerosene hand siphon that came with my heater. Works extremely well and was free

A cheap alternative is to buy an oil can with a flexible neck/spout.

You will have to fill it a few times, depending on how much it holds.

You can empty the can in 9-10 pumps!!
