Default Changing Oil Question

Does anyone torque their oil drain bolt to a certain spec? I have been doing it on my bike, but hadn't done it on my previous car. What is the torque spec for that bolt? Is there one for the filter also? I think the K&N oil filter has a wrench spot. One more question, is 5 quarts the right amount of oil? (People have debated this about 6 months ago)

Oil filter: 11-15 ft-lb
Oil drain plug: 22-28 ft-lb

Personally, I don't actually torque them. I do use the K&N filter and the end accomodates a 1" socket- very convenient.

5 quarts on the nose is perfect- after a brief run and drain down, she was right at the full mark.
