pulsate throught clutch pedal..
ok hi guys i have an 06 z with 82k . and never known if the cluitch was replace or not..but whenever i depress the clutch pedal .i can feel the pedal is vibrate or pulsate ...it never happen before since i owned untilthe past saturday when i turn on the ac and drove it..then i turn it off then it happen ever since. i thought i need a new clutch but then i tested on a down hill by throwing into 2nd and rev to see if the clutch is slipping but no it not, every time i shift it catch right away, it pulsate when stop idle. and not so much when rolling , car still run fine , no CEL , no hesitation or whatsoever..
sound like i need to try this out... it might be the air..because if i just press the clutch in with no force then it does it but if i force it and press it and make sure it hard to the floor then the pulsate gone... however my clutch fluid does look bad
I cannot think of any reason turning on the AC would affect the clutch. The only part of the AC system on the drive train is the compressor, and it's on the front of the engine. It's driven by a belt, and there's an electric clutch on the compressor that engages when it needs to run.
None of that should cause pulsation in the clutch pedal, especially after the AC has been turned off.
I doubt bleeding the system will stop the pulsations. Any air in the system acts like a cushion, whereas the fluid acts solid. Air can be compressed, but fluid cannot be compressed. Therefore, removing air (if there is any in the system) should make the pulsations worse if they're actually coming from the clutch, which I seriously doubt..
Perhaps the AC belt is starting to come apart, and some part of it is getting caught between the pulleys and the belt. That might have started when you used the AC, because it put more load on the belt. That would cause the entire drive train to vibrate, and the easiest place to feel that would be the clutch pedal, since it's attached to the car's structure.

I have an 06 Z and my clutch had some a pulsing/shaking feel when depressed. Exactly the same problem you described. That was when I had about 62k miles on it.
Your clutch's throw out bearing (release bearing) is going bad and giving you this pulsing. When you press on the clutch pedal and release the pressure plate, the release bearing will turn. When the bearing is bad, it gives you this pulsing/vibrating feel.
Your clutch will be fine and you can keep driving until the clutch actually slips, you just have to get used to this pulsing everytime you depress the clutch pedal. But I believe the pulsing will only get worst over time.
Just make sure to replace the release bearing when do you get the clutch stuff replaced.
My OEM clutch was still in good shape, but I wanted to get it replaced with a nismo clutch. When I got it installed with a new release bearing, the pulsing/vibrating clutch pedal went away.
