Unhappy Problems with my Z, Clutch related.. I think

Ok I think I'm having a problem with my clutch, Maybe it's going out or maybe it's not even my clutch at all. I'll try my best to describe whats happening. Maybe you guys can Help me out.

Me. In second gear at about 3k rpms. Ill punch the gas. flooring it. RPMs will rev to 4k(still on a continuous roll). then it will go back down to 3K then start going. when it jumps to 4k rpm. it wont really move or anything until it goes back down to 3k rpm. like its taking time to catch on the clutch

This happens all in a span of about 6 seconds or less.

Anyone else ever have this problem?
Do I need a new clutch?

2006 350z 6speed. 60K miles.

I can try to take video if that'll help. Just let me know

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section.

The clutch is slipping. The explanation is simple. The driven plate will not hold the flywheel at a particular torque. RPM goes up - car does not accelerate.

At this point you can probably get away with replacing the disc and pressure plate assembly. If you keep doing what you just described, you'll need to replace the flywheel, too.
