Default Suspension knock

For the past coue of weeks, any time I attempt to angle on a drive way, I hear a reoccuring knocking coming from the front right area of my suspension. If I were to describe the sound, it sounds like plastic ur rubber being flexed creating a knocking. I immediately thought it may be coming from my aftermarket sway bushings that have dried out and need to be re-lubed. I brought it to my local dealer and told them what the problem was. The following evening I get a call saying the sound is gone. I told them I'd be there to test drive it myself but then I was told they had already done so. I receive another call saying that the sound had reoccured ( tells me they lied about driving it). They told me they need some time to see what is wrong. I get another call saying they found the problem, that all the bolt holding the entire front suspension were loose. How is that possible? I would have felt shaking if they were. Any thoughts? Am I being lied too? What's the real problem?

well apparently they weren't lying, they fixed the car. there is no sound anymore and at no charge to me. he said the entire suspension was loose. He specifically mentioned the struts and control arms. Let me add that i was in a prior head on collision (not as bad as it seems) and had the car repaired. The service manager at Nissan said that in order to fix it they would have had to taken apart the suspension. All i know is the sound is gone.

Did they do a wheel alignment after they tightened the bolts?
