Back from dead hopefully someone answers.
Picked up at CD009 with 16k miles yesterday but no shifter bracket. I am planning on doing this swap into a 2003 350z at a buddies with a lift but don't want it there longer than it needs to be. How big are these gaps using the old bracket? Are they fixable with a couple washers or should I fab a shim?

I have also been reading about switching the pivot ball out?
Do I have to use the 2003 ball?
Can I use the 2005 ball with the 2005 fork?
Will I be able to adjust the clutch enough to work with the 05 if possible?

Thank you.

Lol.. washers..
No.. its several inches in length different.. your shifter will barely be in the hole in the tunnel anymore Lol.. you must use the matching bracket..
