i just picked up an 04' enthusiast last week. ive noticed that the rear tires lean inwards,its very noticable. I called up nissan and asked about it,they said that as the can accelerates they straighten out. is this true?

It is called Negative Camber, and it is normal in a car like the Z. It helps keep the back end from kicking out during cornering. When the alignment is doen to Nissan specs you will notice considerable Negative Camber.

 

they all do, apparently this is a characteristic of multi point independent rear suspension. I asked a mech friend how it doesn't wear the inner part of the tires faster, he didn't know how but was sure it compensates at different speeds. I've also noticed other high end handling cars like ours were the rear wheels lean in at the top when setting.
