Question Traction Control

Hi everyone i have a 2003 350z enthusiast model and my car has traction control and everything. Ive had the car for over a year now and have driven it in the rain before but not wen i was comfortable with the car. Today is one of the first rainy days in Socal in a long time and i decided to give it some gas in a open area with traction off in first gear (i did not launch the car i was rolling in first) even with traction off and it raining it still felt like traction control was on but i made sure it was off. I was maybe thinking it was wheel hop but i am not sure. Is what im noticing normal? by the way my car is 6MT I don't know if that makes a difference. All input is appreciated thanks guys

its really easy to test press the vdc button, look for the orange vdc light on the dash and launch your car..... problem solved any one can tell if traction control is on or not if not let the stealership take care of it

I am positive the Enthusiast model does not have VDC. VDC starts @ the Performance package that year. Correct me if I am wrong.
