BCM Problems?
Alright, first off I know this is probably in the wrong section and if so, my bad, but there's no section for engine/body electrical that I could find, only A/V.
Anywho; My 03 Base MT won't crank over.
The car will drive if I push/clutch start it, however when I try to start it using the ignition, all my electrical comes on, the fuel pump primes, but the starter motor does not turn over. Not even a single click. I checked w/ a volt meter and there is signal being sent from the key cylinder out, but it's not making it to the starter motor. From my research so far, I am to believe it is the BCM? It was working just fine and then suddenly kaput. One moment it cranks fine, but then I stop for gas, and get stranded at the gas station. Thoughts?
I searched the forums and pretty much ruled out the key immobilizer, as this will still let your starter turn over, it just won't send a signal to the injectors/sparks, thus preventing it from starting.
I tried almost every thing I could think of shy of getting a new BCM (which I very well might do tomorrow). The problem started shortly after I installed my Dowontech ST800. Very shortly, as in, I started it up immediately after the install, went for gas, and got stranded. While on my way to the gas station, one of the wires leading into one of the relays came loose, maybe that touched some metal and shorted, or sent a wrong signal to the BCM and fried it? Maybe that has nothing to do w/ it? Hopefully somebody here knows something I don't. I DC'ed the entire system, and still the problem persists. I bought a new starter motor, that didn't help either.
I'm going to take tomorrow off of work and go hunting for the BCM at a decent prices, but if I don't have to shell out even more money than I already have (roughly $250 between new relays, starter, etc) that would be awesome. I also really need this to be solved as soon as possible, as the military won't let me take days off just cuz my car crapped out on me.
If anything is not clear, ask away and I will try to be as clear and concise as possible when I reply. Thanx in advance for the help
EDIT: And yes, before everybody starts replying with the obvious: I did check the fuses (unless there is an entirely unrelated one that I didn't check, like wipers or blinkers, that could still be causing this issue cuz Nissan in their infinite wisdom decided to make them mysteriously co-dependent. Stranger things have happened), I did use a volt meter to test the voltages of the wires and resistance of the relays, I did replace the starter. Just for clarification's sake.
Also, don't know if it's relevant, but I'm pretty sure whenever I push start it, the red blinky light for the security system stays on solid as long as I'm driving it, but when I shut the engine off, it goes back to either off or blinking.

Bump for broke Z
Well most of the local guys and Facebook Nismo guys know that my car has been acting up. 2 issues and I'm not sure if there related.
First issue is that the room lamp fuse keeps blowing fuses on contact! Ok, I thought maybe I had something loose in my audio install. I completed removed my sub and amp. Car currently only has the head unit in at this time. I double checked the wires and grounds, everything pans out to me.
Help
Second issue is the car idle jumps from normal to about 1500 on it's own after a few minutes into warmup. Just started about a week ago. So I figured that it may be air in the system, but heat and the AC works fine. The idle doesn't change with the heat or AC engaged. However pushing the trunk button gets the idle up?

Help
I've search many forums on this ghost issues. I have a new thermostat for the second issue, and I'm ready to order a new BCM for the first issue.
Just need a few more thoughts on wether I'm on the right track to what may be causing these problems.
Thanks
