Default ignition problems

today i was driving my z around and everything was normal like always....i went and got something to eat....drove around a bit.....came to a stop sign....when i too off in first everything was alright then i heard this loud BOOM come from the engine.....and the car seem to be unresponsive for like 5 seconds.....then everything went back to normal.....got home and turn the car off....came back and turn the car on........try to start.....rum rum rum rum rum rum rum rum rum then the engine finally cranks. check engine came on...slip came on and another sign came on.....now every time i start it.....the same thing....after its on....seems like nothing is wrong....normal.....drives normal....no loss in power....nothing.....i dont know what that boom is and why its doing that....help me!!!!!

so why dont you let us help you by posting up the codes that appeared with the CEL.

without the codes, no one can help you.

Go to autozone and get your codes read. It's probably a sensor failure.

yeah i went to autozone and they ran a test the the code P0340 came up 3 times.....i think it might be the camshaft sensor......but when i got off of work a 2 in the morning.....it fired up like there was nothing wrong.....drove it half way home and the car cuts off.....i was quick on my feet and try to start it up and rum rum rum......the same thing .......weird......any ideas

oil levels are good and just changed it a week ago
