Default Rev Problem

I have a strange problem that hopefully someone could lead me in the right direction. When in any gear coming up to a stop, I put the clutch in and the car in neutral to coast, my revs kinda bounce around. Once I put it into neutral, th revs drop to a thousand and then kick back up and stay around a thousand five hundred for a couple seconds, then slowly drop down to idle. anyone have a similar problem, no codes, no driveability issues, it just pisses me off, and from what i remember my car has never done this, because normally when you put in the clutch the revs should drop instantly down to idle.....

Try cleaning and resetting your throttle body.

Has the car been yours since new? Ever been osirus or uprev tuned.

yes the car has always been mine, no aftermarket tune. as for the reset, i did the idle air and throttle body reset via FSM and didnt help. Then I unhooked the battery and left it for a day. Still did not help

I had similar issues ('05 non-revup motor) but only after I had a plenum spacer installed. Mine also idled high. Got it taken care of at the dealer. I guess they put in new parameters or rpm range for it to idle, something like that. Possibly could be the same fix? If you have a warranty still I suggest stopping at the dealer to get it looked at, otherwise it'll cost like $140.
