Ok so ive been doing the vq swap in my s13 and i ripped all the wiring out to start fresh. Only thing left is figuring out the starting and charging part. lol.

now i made a diagram so simply what im tryin to do. Dont laugh guys, its already embarrassing i can't figure this out.

So from the battery, i have a power cable coming to the starter first and then tapping off to the alternator. Would be this be okay if done this way. Also, my second question, what is that female port for circled in yellow. I looked at the wiring diagram but seems like one goes back to the battery and the other back to ignition. what is the purpose of this connector.

Again, laugh or not, i need these answered. Thanks
