Default I have a weird problem with my electrics. Help?

(Car is a 2006 Touring coupe)Today i was driving down the road when out of no where i lost power steering and the battery warning light came on the dash. I forced the car in to the nearest parking lot and tried to diagnose the problem. Tried turning off and turning on the car a couple times but that did nothing, then as i was sitting there a fellow Z owner in a silver 03-05 model stopped by to compliment my car and i asked him if he knew anything about this and he said that it was a weird problem and had never heard of it before.

So i figured, better if it dies at home than in some parking lot 5 miles away so i drove home power steering-less. Upon arriving home i went inside to get jumper cables (without turning the car off) and about 5-10 minutes later i sat in the car to find that the instruments and everything flickering and the engine struggling to stay at idle so i turned the car off.

At this point i assumed like any rational thinking person that my battery had taken a **** on me. Fast forward about 3 hours. My dad and I are going to drive the car to the mechanic to get it looked at. Jumped the car, started up a little weak but other that the power steering and battery light on it was fine, not 20 feet down the road, the car starts slowing down to about 5 mph and with my foot down i cant make it go any faster. Immediately pulled it in to my driveway and now i have to get it towed.

My friend who works at a car parts store said that from what i told him it could be my battery and or my alternator or worst case scenario it could be ECU which he thinks is unlikely. I have NEVER touched any electrics on the car, except for back in september when i installed LED reflectors that i spliced into the headlights and wrapped with electrical tape, and a month ago i got a headunit professionally installed, the only other "mod" on the car, is an intake, everything else is stock. The battery has died on me once before but not recently and i usually dont leave things on. Has anyone else had problems like this? Please help me out, Thanks

Loss of power steering and battery light indicate that the accessory belt broke/loose, etc.

Is alternator actually turning? Take to Autozone and have them test the battery/alternator on the car.

im not too car savvy but if youre referring to the clicking sound when i try to start the car then yes. Would that accessory belt have any effect on the engines power delivery? i had a similar problem with an old mustang i had which had terrible electronic problems. Thanks for getting back to me, i appreciate it.
