Dead Pedal fell off?
My dead pedal felt loose for the last couple weeks but after pulling on it and finding it myself unable to remove it I figured it was fine. Luckily as I was getting into my car today I kicked it accidentally and it came off while parked instead of while driving. I looked and can't figure out how to reattach it. The studs look fine and from what I can tell the plastic pieces do not seem to be broken.
Anyone have any advice? I can grab pics later if needed.

I'll post up a pic later, it will show that there really isn't a place for adhesive. The pedal isn't a solid block but hollow underneath.
actually, the dead petal is pretty much useless it seems like after taking it off once. i took mine off to get leverage to adjust my clutch, and when i put it back on, it was all loose. the other day i was doing a pull and it flew off lol.
moral of the story is take it off once, buy a new one!

this happens to me too every once and a while at radom. my car isnt a daily so it may be less often than you. i usually just put it back onto the the studs with some force and it seems to stay for a while. havent found a concrete solution yet. subbed for if you find anything, or anyone else has this issue. i doubt this matters but mine is an 03 touring 6 spd

I am assuming that the problem is here: 5 screws with nothing to screw into. You need longer or fatter screws to support the peddle assembly.

You do have edges available to apply adhesive.
Main objective is for this to be on permanent.
I'd use contruction(outdoor)adhesive or Seal All.
Clean sufaces and bond.
Should be on there for good
there are two post that hold the dead pedal in. Seems like if you pull it off it will never want to go back on and stay secure.
I have been without a dead pedal for years.
DavidV's picture looks like someone chopped up a dead pedal. The screws are meant to hold the aluminum face onto the plastic.

Mine was consistently loose and falling out when the car was new. IIRC there were two studs that the peddle slides onto with some kind of plastic self-ratcheting system. The plastic was worn on mine however so only solution was to replace since I didn't want to glue it. I had the dealership replace under warrant and haven't had any problems since.
Check out this web site great resource for various hard to get plastic and metal fasteners .

You can also use Nutserts and change the fasteners to Machine screws .

Going to look into the websites provided by 1000gixxer and if I find a fix I will be sure to post it.
I used the Macgyver technique. Took some picture hanging wire and twisted it around each plastic thingy and put a small piece of duct tape on the top where the screw goes in. Works like a charm.
