Default Repair or Replace after Accident?

This car is 3 weeks old. I almost had an accident driving in the rain. I lost control and managed to control the car without hitting other cars. Then I went off road and got stuck in mud car had to be towed or pulled out. As you can see there's this crack on my front bumper. I don't know if I should fix the crack or get a new bumper please what do you guys think? Help with ideas please.

Okay if I may ask... why should I not just get an 04 bumper and not having to change anything. Such as the mud guards? Why get an 06 I don't just wanna get it because it fits on the car

Just to update the exterior... nothing more. I did the 04 to 08 conversion on my 2004 Touring. I should be more specific in saying the under shroud and the front part of the fender liners are what would be changed.

What he said.

oh oh oh and how do you intend to repair this? Plastic patch? Get yourself a new bumper of course. Always curious why incidences such as this are not insurance claims. I mean you do pay insurance right?

??If this is a insurance claim(you do have insurance?),they would replace the bumper and all needed body components with OEM parts or equivilent.
The bumper cannot be repaired.Must be replaced.

I have insurance but my suitable is 1000$ so I guess I will be getting a new bumper on my own. I pay gull coverage which I'd 133$ a month. Do you have any idea ho much it will cost to get a new bumper a fully paint it? I don't think it will be up to 1000$

Don't even think about trying to fix that crack. Just replace it. Get a new bumper, have it painted by a shop and install it yourself.

You should have the car throughly looked over, I wouldn't be surprised if there is more damage after seeing this pic:
