Default putting your z up on a lift

hey everyone well today i was trying to put my car up in the air with the standard two pose lift but here is the thing the arm on the lift is too long for the standard lift points/area, so had anyone came across this issue and what have you done or where have you put the lift arm to safely lift the vehicle

The arms should be adjustable, like an elbow....and use wooden blocks

JERZ350 good looking out, now that you say that i can put wooden blocks on the first piece of the arms the piece that just move under the car and not in or out of the stationery arms k get it.
