Default Reverse, license plate, and emergency lights not working

Fuse appears to be okay as are the bulbs themselves.

Reverse lights haven't worked since I bought the car years ago. Yesterday I decided to replace the bulbs only to find out they're fine. I check fuse #71 at the EPDM and it's fine. I replace it with the spare 10A and no difference. Now I notice that the emergency flashers no longer work (they did last time I hit them months ago) nor do the license plate lights come on. All other lights work correctly.

Is it possible the 'back up' relay has gone bad? Is there anything else I should be checking?

Searched forums and cannot find anything relevant. Closest thing is that the reverse sensor on the MT may be bad but would that also cause the other lights to go out?

Any help greatly appreciated.

can you open the hatch with the button by the license plate (not via the fob/remote) ? If not, I suspect the rear harness / connector may be disconnected.

I am able to open the hatch with the button in between the bulbs.

Any idea's?

Took it to dealer yesterday to ask around but nobody had an answer so really hoping someone on here can give some suggestions so I can continue trouble-shooting.

Anyone think it could be an EPDM issue?
