Default Marks on my paint.

I believe they are water marks from rain, but not 100% sure. It rained the other day and I left my car outside. The next day I notice these marks on my car on the hood and rear hatch. I've used Meguaires Paint Restoration Kit on it which helped bring color back to parts of my car, but didn't remove the marks that are shown in the picture. I've also tried clay bar as well and it has done nothing.

Anyone know what it is and what I can do to get it removed without having to get a new paint job.

Agree.

Those are droplets of water maybe mixed with a solid material. Bird droppings? Mineral deposits? A light polish should take care of it.

Try vinegar mixed with a bit of water.

I find it hard to believe than rain drops could have caused this.
Are these spots all over your car?
What type have wax/polish was on your car BEFORE it rained?
Was the sun out the next day?Pretty intense?
I've used a product called A-MAZ.Its used to remove hard water spots on-whatever.
Its great on getting hard mineral deposits off.
Glass supply companies sell it.At least that where I bought mine.
If it removes hard water spots on windshields,it should take your spots off.
I never used it on paint.I'd think you would use it very lightly.Finish of with a good grade
polish.

I know it's hard to believe but it's true, after it rained those spots appeared on my car. The paint has been faded a little bit due to the previous owner but I've been doing paint restoration with a Porter Cable 6 speed buffer and its been working amazingly. I tried the same compound on the spots and it didn't even do anything. If the car is outside you can't see the spots, but once it is inside the garage the spots are visible very well.

Thank you all for the replies, I will definitely try some of those options and see what my results will be.

Btw I use Meguairs Gold Class Carnabau Plus Paste Wax and Megaires Paint Restoration Kit along with their Clay Bar.
