Buy an air cleaner kit. It should come with two bottles. One is the actual cleaner and one is the lubrication oil you apply before reinstalling. Directions come with in but basically you spray your air filter (I'm assuming you have two cones) with the cleaner and let it sit for about ten minutes and then rinse it well with low pressure water. You'll see that the water running from your filter will be very dark and yucky. Then you must let the filter dry completely before applying the oil (the other bottle in the package) evenly and reinstalling the filters. I buy K&N intake cleaner. Hope that helps.

http://www.crackaddict.com/~flynn/ho...ncai.howto.htm - Scroll to the bottom.

Steps:

a) Get a K&N Filter Cleaning Kit (sold at most Autozones and NAPAs)
b) Rinse first from inside of the filter using a stream of water
c) Use the cleaning spray and let sit for 10 minutes
d) Rinse after 10 minutes, and allow to air dry
e) Lightly oil the filter. Wait 5-10 minutes for the oil to absorb

You can check the DIY forum for how to reach the air filters if you haven't before.
