Default Driver's side window auto up and auto adjust not working

Recently, my driver's side window's auto up and auto adjust stopped working. Auto down works fine, and manual up and down both work. Auto adjust drops the window down when the door is opened, but it doesn't raise again when the door is closed; every time the door is opened, the window drops some more. I've tried resetting the motor and the switch (by pulling up and holding it) to no avail. Is there a reset procedure I haven't tried it, or do I have to replace something? Would this problem be caused by the motor or switch? The motor sounds perfectly fine and is actually quicker than my passenger side window motor, which functions perfectly.

yes there is a reset button, but you have to take off the entire panel.

Search. This topic has been discussed for years on this forum.

I'm sorry. I couldn't find anything. I've already tried the rubber button reset, but it still hasn't fixed anything.

steve there is a tsb (technical service bulletin) on the topic. I'm certain your vehicle is outside it being fixed for free, but if you take your car to anyone who works on the 350z, they'll know what to do.

There are also a $#!+ load of DIY (do it yourself) threads here to help you through fixing this very very common issue. (It is a bit of a challenge if you're not the "fix it myself" kinda person).

You'll just have to take off the door panel and either clean the window motor (short term fix) or get a new one (pretty inexpensive at Oreilly).

I've already tried cleaning the motor and resetting with the button on the motor. I'm just wondering whether it's possible that there's something wrong with the BCM or window switch since the motor works perfectly other than the auto up/auto adjust up issue. I'm going to try disconnecting my battery to reset everything and setting the window motors again. If that doesn't work, I'll probably get a new motor...
