Problem with pass. window
Ok, I know that the motors that power the windows on our cars have been known to go out, but thats not what I think is wrong with my passenger window. One day I just couldn't roll it down with the switches inside the car, but it goes down fine if I hold the unlock button on my key fob and up if I hold the key to the lock position in the door...
So, does that mean I need to buy a new window motor? or new switches for inside the car? Its got me quite puzzled cause one day it worked then the next it didn't anymore.
Thanks guys

Very very likely it is the switch itself as you suspect. I take it that you cannot open with either switch
(driver or passenger). I had the exact same situation with my Nissan Pathfinder (i know it is not a Z Lol)
Surprisingly it turned out to be the master switch on the driver side. The other window is linked to it
with the button that can be used to prevent it from openining.

Yea thats what I was thinking since it still goes down and up.
Would anyone possibly know the part # for the master switch assembly on the driver side? Because I went to courtesyparts.com and looked around for the master assembly but I only found something that might be it for $242.. That seems a lil overpriced hopefully.

Here is what i did. Since I was not definiyely sure, I decided to pick a used one up on ebay.
It worked perfectly and still works. Do not shell money on a new switch unless you are
100% sure. lots of Z switches on eBay with return options if they don't work.
I know you must have checked but make sure that switch on the driver side is not accidentally pushed down though. On the other hand you might have a fellow Z owner nearby that may be willing to help test with their switch. Takes a minute to pull out
